What is correct inside diameter of the leak-off line between the injectors on a Ford 1700? Will I have to bleed-off the fuel system after changing this line? Will appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

I used 5/16" rubber hose rated for oil, fuel from local Auto parts store. A 2 feet section of it in a box was less than $3. I reused two of the existing clamps and and add a new clamp on the tank. The hose seemed a bit thicker than the original but the ID was the same. Take a chunk of the old one and compare and contrast to what they have in auto store. A little bigger can't harm as long as Id is the same and you have a clamp on it. No, you don't. Bleed off line is atmospherically vented thru your fuel tank.

JC,

By the way, also got some1/4" Polyethylene line to fit my fuel sight glass/hose. The original was so dark and could not see the fuel at all. As you know 1700 does not have a fuel Gauge ... good part of it that it's got nothing to break either.
