I have a L3130 4 wheel drive with a leak. I don't know all the names of the parts on it yet to do a proper search. It is just a small drip from someplace just on the inside of the front tire on the right side. What is it? :)

I have a similar problem on one side of my BX2200. I need to clean it up real good and see if I can find where it is leaking. I expect the least expensive answer would be seals. Wondering if one should replace them on both sides if that turns out to be the case.

I have a 3130 that had the same problem. From the factory they use super UDT which is very thin. I drained that out and put 90W gear oil in it and problem was solved. Could have gotten asome dirt in the seal. If you change the fluid turn your wheels l to right. lock to lock several times . Try it before you even change the fluid and it may dislodge the culprit. Let us know the outcome.

I'll give that a try next time I am up. I don't currently live where my tractor lives, not until the house is built anyway. :)

Also have a L3130 HST 4 x 4 (2003 model). Have the front wheel hubs apart on both sides and have new seals and o-rings on order. These seals have been leaking for 6 or 7 years and I have been checking and topping off the oil as needed. Started to leak worse so bit the bullet and ordered them. Surprisingly simple to pull them apart and install new seals. Go on line with Messicks.com and they will send you via e-mail a parts sheet breakdown for your machine.

Great machine. I have 1100 hours with a LA723 loader and not a hint of trouble. I did find out they were only made for 4 years (2003-2007).

Good luck with yours

David
