Leaking 1 gallon milk jugs

No more polypropylene than they use to make a gallon milk jug, it's surprising that they don't puncture more often than they do. But one heavy drop on a corner will sure put a hole in it.

And now, more another off topic tidbit ...If you freeze milk before putting it in the frig it'll keep longer before spoiling. Much longer.

That said, our frig just went on the blink. So nothing is going to keep the milk fresh until we get the new frig delivered.

We have one place locally where you can still buy the 1/2gal glass bottles. And can return them for "refill".

I'd get up early and pour the cream off on my fortified oat flakes and put the white water back in the fridge for my older sisters.... :laughing:
