After pushing back some snowbanks today, I stopped to change the angle on the back blade and noticed melted snow near my right rear tire. Seeing as it was 11 degrees F, I figured something else was melting the snow. I brought the tractor back up to level space and saw liquid running off the bottom of the tire rim. Taste test says SALTY. I bought my tractor used with less than 50 hours on it so I don't know if this is tubed. The B7610 has R4s and is 4WD.
There's no obvious puncture, it seems to be leaking around the rim somewhere. I adjusted the position of the tire till the leak slowed to a drop every 6 seconds. I'm leaving it out of the shed for now in case I have to get the tire serviced.
Any suggestions? Anyone know a trustworthy tire service in Central Massachusetts? It's going to snow in a couple of days. I've got to come up with a fix soon. Thanks folks.
