How dangerous is it to crank on this? There is a very slow leak and maybe if I can get a little bit of a turn on it I might stop it. I'm just worried about breaking something.
It appears to be a jic fitting, provided it's not over tightened already it won't hurt to give it a little more. My concern would be damaging the hard line from twisting, if there isn't any way to get a wrench on the tee.
So I finally got around to trying to fix the leak. I tried holding the T with a big wrench and tightening the fitting. I got about a quarter turn on it. It seems to have stopped leaking. Thanks for the suggestions.
I also had some problems with the 3rd function valve body this past weekend. This port was shooting oil over my shoulder. It was so lose it almost rattled. I think I got 2 full turns on it. That seems to be fixed now.
Later that same day oil started leaking from the screws that are exactly like these but on the other side of the valve. All 4 were lose. I have no clue what these do but I tightened them down as snug as I could get them. That leaking seems to have stopped now.
