Puddle on the floor. Bigger every day. Hose someplace on the FEL. Today was the day. Too windy to work in the woods. Started to take off the FEL to find the problem. Then I realized I could just pull the hoses out , plug them back in
outside the frame and push a little oil through the valve and watch for the leak.
It was coming out of a crimp on a curl line. Pulled out the hose, hmmm 1/2 , R17 , 3/8 mpt on one end , JIC 6 on the other . 45" long. Ahhh Went to the local auto parts guy. I knew he would not have the same hose, his 1/2 was stiffer. So I thought go 3/8 put it on the retract side . Probably will never notice. $50 all done Can't tell the difference. 5 year old hose. I have seen crimps leak before. I guess it's sort of hit or miss and if it's your hose ,it's your hit.
