Leaking Injector? YM2210

Just an FYI. Chris I replaced my return lines with the small vacuum hose as you described.. It didn't take long for the diesel fuel to swell those lines.. I had to locate some small gasoline rated hose
Agreed. I should have emphasized that the hose has to be fuel-rated.

The hose in the YM186D photo was the remnant left over from a similar refurbishment of my YM240 in late 2003 and its holding up fine there, so NAPA apparently sold me the right grade of hose. I had told the counter clerk it was for fuel.

It was a bit of a search to locate small fuel line, I found 3/16" inside diameter but it looked a bit to big, then I luckily found some 1/8" inside diameter and bought that, I plan to change them out this evening. Hope its a simple as this.

The 1/8" was a bit to small and would not go all the way on the nipple, so I went with 3/16" and it worked, something in between the 2 would have been perfect. But the leak has stopped, the injector bolts were not tight at all, I snugged them up but was unsure how tight to make them, anyone?

i'd just go with tight, not as tight as you could possibly make them but tight with a smaller handled wrench

all those things except the actual steel fuel lines have brass crush washers under them that will deform and take some of the pressure when tightened
