My 6225c steering seals both failed around 40-50hrs.
Pulled them apart and found the factory o-rings were whimsical and didnt even seat well.
Replaced with slightly thicker ones that snug-down better and away i went.
Now at 190hrs they are leaking again.

This is so frustrating and im wondering if this is a common problem with the Branson design.
Has anyone else had the same problem or does anyone have advice on how to do the job properly?

I couldnt handle doing it a 3rd time.

Thanks

I haven't had any problems with them on my 3725ch. Over 3 years, and almost 300 hours on mine. I'm sorry you're having issues with yours. I don't know if they put the same steering gear in mine, or if it's different? Both "25 series", but?

All I can offer is sympathy.

Good luck.
