I am trying to help out a friend with a TC 45 that is leaking hydraulic fluid from the endcap of the hydraulic pump. Looking online there seems to be a few options… A $525 seal kit which is overkill for this problem, or a $48 endcap gasket #11 in link below
There also is two small bushing seals and associated backing plates in the diagram. Do I need to replace them too?
#10 and 12.

This is not my tractor I don’t want to get too much into a project. Can I simply order endplate gasket, take the four bolts off and replace it and have a chance of fixing the leak? and is there anything I need to look out for? I’m am only concerned about the external leak. The details of the tractor are below. If it were my tractor, I would just do it… And I would not be asking this question on the forum… But again it is a friends, it’s not located nearby, and just trying to help out
Thank you.
