My Woods 9000 backhoe is leaking when it is parked. The first time I took it off, I had to put a bucket under the hoses - had at least a couple of cups of fluid leak out. I determined that I put it away under pressure, so the next time I was sure to exercise all of the levers with the tractor off before unplugging it. That seemed to work - it sat for 2 weeks w/o leaking. Then, when I happened to be there, all of the sudden there was a puddle and one of the hoses was dribbling somewhat profusely. I don't know if I bumped it (didn't think so) or if it was just an incredible coincidence, but I pushed the leaky connector's ball in and let it pop back out. That appeared to stop the leaking fluid, but it was weird none-the-less. Is this at all normal, or are my connectors shot? There is no leaking when the backhoe is mounted and/or operating.

I would spend some good money on high quality coupler connectors.

and be sure to buy caps and plugs.
