After wife and I went to an area fair we are totally leaning on a CT230.

Here are the deals I'm looking at:
1) CT230 Standard new with FEL and B'cat brush hog 16,110 (no rear hydro or mid pto or suspension seat)

2) CT230 Deluxe demo 28 hours with FEL and quick bucket detach/release used BH in nice shape except for a broken shield, this machine also has suspension seat, rear hydro, mid pto, from what I was told are options that are standard on the deluxe model, 16,595

Any thoughts on these machines? Everyone here helped convince me to look at a larger machine. How much is the quick release option for the bucket as well as pricing for the suspension seat, very nice. None of these dealers are nearby and I will have to take a hit on delivery.

Still waiting for a call. I asked the salesman back around July 23rd for a price on the CT225, 230, or 235 with FEL. He said he would get back to me.....nothing yet.
I agree with the postings that recommend the larger machine. Small machines are fine for smaller properties, but when you get onto larger properties and heavier chores, you'll need the weight and horsepower. Good luck.

I'd jump on the second one. You are getting a backhoe for a mere few hundred dollars. That's a great deal.
