Its a very good way to win up dead with a broken tractor so the benificiaries can talk bad about you leaving them a broke tractor. I imagine when the cable breaks and the miracle the cable doesnt kill the operator it will crash if the cable breaks, the log unlodges ore something in that manor.
I had a friend prying on a stump with a 300Komatsu excavator last year. he had nt dug out enough around it and had hooked the backside of it and crowded it till the back of the track was 5 feet off the ground then the stump popped out and he made a hard landing when I got to him he was unconscious and later afer a hospital stay he had a bad back injury and a few broken ribs.Its a good rule to not let a machine with no suspension off the ground.
