I finally got around to doing another little project for my gc1715. I added 4 8000 lumen LED light bars. A marine-grade switch for controlling front lights and back lights.

for mounting my LED light bars I wanted to have options so I bought very strong magnets and both of them to the light bar instead of drilling holes. And then I made quick marine grade connectors so that everything is waterproof.

I'll take some night time photos tonight. So overall I have LED headlights LED forward lights and LED rear lights. 20190528_113025.jpeg20190528_113044.jpeg20190601_171125.jpeg20190601_171139.jpeg20190601_171533.jpeg

They look really nice and you have a very clean installation. Having the magnets will be easier to adjust the lights in case you need to move them up or down for better visibility.

Very clean installation. I like where you put your switches. I added lights to mine 1715, but haven't mounted the switch yet.

Thanks space was a little tight but I just took as many parts off as I needed. And used a step drill

Can you share your source for the magnets?

I also went the magnet route.
Great if you maneuver in bush areas as U don't end up with damaged light fixtures.
I wired mine up with heavier gauge wire that acts like a tether if a fixture gets knocked off by a branch.

Also have done away with all incandescent lighting in favor of LED.
My front main is a 12" light bar that makes night into day and rear works are magnet mounted 4" LED floods.

Most of my night time usage is generally snow blowing.

I worked on this because of the weather but my lights are mainly for snow removal as well. so when I'm mowing the grass that's why I have those marine-grade plugs I disconnect and just stored in a box ready for winter.
