I am going ot use my BX23s to clear snow this winter and figured I should add some lights on the ROPS. I didn't want to modify the ROPS in anyway, so I used the foctory holes and $100 in stainless bits to install the 4 LED's. I faced 2 forward and two back. I used 1" rare earth magnets and some msc stainless components to hold the wires to the ROPS, the little magnets hold 35lb each so the light wire doesnt' budge unless you want it to move. I ran power directly to the battery and but a waterprrof switch in the dash above the facory light switch. Running past the trans fan was not fun, I still fear something will cause the zip tied wire to move , but it is a clear 1" from the fan and zip tied every few inches in this area. They arent' blinding bright but will light up my 175' driveway plenty well. I got the lights and wiring harness as a kit on Amazon of course for about $43.00 All the magnets, stainless steel accessories and wiring bits added up to about $180 I think. I probably can return $40 worth of stainless parts I bought multiple lengths of.
