Leftover 2010 vs. leftover 2009

Tractors are not like cars,build date doesn't factor in as much.Hours of use are what counts.Dealers my discount for say faded paint etc.,but don't expect much else;unless there was a major change in design in the model you are purchasing.

I am interested in the dates because there is a certain amount of deterioration through age. The battery is another year older - the tires are another year older and they are subject to age, not just wear - there is more opportunity for condensation to occur. When you go to sell some buyers are age conscious. And I can't sell it as a 2010 ( as it states on my bill of sale ) since I know it is a 2009. btw- they seem to go by initial dealer delivery date - not the date of manufacture.

The manufacturer can have them sitting in crates for over a year, usually with no battery or wheels on them, and they sell them to the dealer as the year they are delivered to the dealer.
