I placed an order with LeHigh 3 weeks ago. I got a package with the abrasives after a week but I had also ordered some clamps and they weren't in the package. I waited another week thinking maybe they sent them in a different box but no luck. So I started emailing and calling. I got an answer one time and a guy named Chris took my info and said he would look into it and call back. It has been about a week since then and I can't get any answers to my calls or emails and Chris hasn't called back. I am starting to get pretty upset. Anyone else have similar experience with them?

I was planning to put an order in with them. Now, maybe not....

Keep up updated please.

Assuming you ordered with a credit card, just let the cc company know that the order was not delivered. They should investigate your problem and refund your cost.

I ordered from Lehigh after a few people here had mentioned them. I'll update the thread when I hear more. I'm going to give them a few business days next week to make it right before I call my credit card company.

Of those that have ordered from Lehigh: Was it always a good experience? Has anyone else order clamps from them and gotten them?

I didn't order clamps, just abrasives and got what I ordered. It was just the one order though, I'm not a long time customer. At the rate I use abrasives, it might be 2 years till I need more.

I heard back from lehigh this morning. They have been waiting on the clamps from their supplier. Wish they could have just said they were not in stock or something... Their site does not have any kind of "in stock" indicator. I am accustomed to seeing something and assume if they have it for sale then they have it in stock. Maybe they will correct the oversight...

Yes, I am disappointed with places that take your order and mark it "completed" when they do not have it in stock. A couple of weeks ago I ordered an air filter from Scott Gross Co. I got a "order completed" email, then nothing about it being shipped. I called them, they said it was "on order", they didn't have any in stock. I told them to cancel my order. I ordered it elsewhere ($20 cheaper and in stock). Today I get an email saying that it was shipped!!! A quick call and they cancelled the shipment (and I got an email confirmation of the cancellation.)

I much prefer web dealers who confirm whether or not they have something in stock.

I ordered a propane stove for my living room on Nov 4th. I just got it last week. Quick to take my money, and no phone calls. I called them up to tell them im coming to pick up my money, and low and behold the stove showed up. I almost told them to keep it, but I really was looking foward to it. Just in time for summer!

Oh and you may be wondering whats this have to do with welding? When I opened the control panel door on the bottom, one of the hinge pins fell off! Ughhhhhhhh! More welding to add to the list.

I have not purchased clamps, only flap discs. Their flap discs are awesome and at $1.89 ea I have not found a better disc on the market.
They have always shipped quickly and responded promtly to questions.

Just wanted to update and let yall know the clamps I got there are awesome. I haven't tried all the different abrasives that I've ordered yet but the cut-off wheels seem as good as the dewalt ones I get from the stores. I'm about to try one of the flap discs. Finally wore out a store bought one. The last half of the thing had very little grit in it so it made it a chore to use. I hear the lehigh ones are much better about that.
