Rear Finish Mower Length of LP or Woods 84" RFM

Based on info from here I narrowed my USED mower choices to either a LP FDR2584 ($1400) or the Woods RD8400. ($1700) The deciding factor as to which one I get will not be price as they are relatively the same; but rather, what is the non-cutting width of the respective units. A friend will pick one of these up using his 6X12 enclosed trailer and I figured they could be rolled in his trailer sideways. That said I went to both mfg's websites and neither had the length measurement, just the cutting width. Does anyone have the measurement?

FWIW the Woods was used 10 times the LP residential for 2 years.

The owners manual list 75" for the FDR2584. The thing is listed at 812 lbs.
I have a FDR2584, it's a good mower.

I also have a FDR2584, and it occurred to me that you may be very close at 6 foot trailer width. So I went out and measured mine.
If you turn the wheel yokes so that the axle bolts are to the outside and nuts to the inside you are exactly 71½ inches. This gives you a half inch of clearance going into the trailer. BUT when removing, if you allow the yokes to rotate putting the axle nuts to the outside your going to be 73 inches and wedged in the trailer. You will still be able to get it out but you will have to work at it... as its not going to want to just roll out.
This mower is the best!

Dawgfan3 and KennyV, thanks for the LP measurements. I kinda thought the same; that it would be really tight. Also like I've read on TBN with most LP RFM owners...they luv the cut.

Any Woods owners want to make their pitch that a Woods will fit better in a 6x12 trailer....
