Oil & Fuel Less expensive filters for xg3032?

Iv'e read through all the posts here concerning filters for LS tractors. My lil blue mule is coming up on 50 hour oil and filter change. I've been a mechanic for forty years and to pay $33.00 for an oil filter is crazy. I'm not Bill Gates, or the Donald. I'm retired living on a fixed pension. To change all the filters on my tractor (oil,fuel hydraulic, and air) will cost upwards of $220. Does anyone have a better, cheaper source that still meets warranty specs. I've tried crossing to both napa and six filters with some results. Not sure if they meet warranty specs. LS is real lame at answering that question. They want to sell their overpriced stuff.

Your XG is listed as having #40283380 filter. There are several Wix, NAPA, or Fram filters that fit.
At least that will take care of the engine oil part of your service. The Fram meets specs and I'd guess the other do also.
Many of us are watching the aftermarket for new substitute filters since the XG3032, XG3037, XR3032, XR3037, XR4040, XR4046 use the same filters. Eventually they will catch up.

I am using Wix for everything except fuel. When I need another fuel I will order a Wix. The are reasonable at Orileys

Maybe just me but any new vehicle with a warranty will get "factory" filters and fluids;then no question if you have a "problem".

I agree with nybirdman here. Why give the manufacturer any excuse to deny a claim if something goes wrong during the warranty period.
After the warranty expired on my g3033, I changed to wix, they are cheaper and easier to get.
