I wand to see how you build your fences. I personally use metal fence post and barbed wire. I will post pictures later.

I use T-posts in the middle but use 6" wood post on corners.

I'm fencing 10 acs. Except for a few left over pressure treated posts, I'm using locust and cedar that I've cut off our place. All the posts are 3' deep. Corner posts are 7' apart. Using some some old well casing for corner brace poles. Drill a 1/2" hole thru the corner posts and drive a 12" piece of rebar to hold the 4" pipe in place, then double wire to tighten. The line posts are 15' apart. I'm going to use 48" woven wire, with 1 run of smooth wire 4" above the woven. The ground is starting to freeze, so I may not be drilling to many more holes, but I'll cut more posts.

My fences are long gone but I can contribute a place with great info on building wire fences. It's Kencove Fence in Pennsylvania. I presume they have a website but we always worked off the catalog they sent. They were always first class nice people with us.

We mostly built high tensile light gauge wire fences to keep beef cows where they were supposed to be. Their catalog showed how to build the corners, center braces, etc. in great detail. We're retiring now and I have a lot of fence stuff for sale if anyone is interested.

I use 133 T-posts and barb wire. My corners are rock filled- 4' x 4' expanded steel enclosures. The long sides of the property are 1/2 mile each - the short sides are 1/4 mile each. Fabricate the corner enclosures and place them - drive in the T-posts - string out the barb wire and stretch - lift the wire to the appropriate position on each of the T-post and attach. I did one wire at a time and found that it was plenty of a challenge that way. It took two summers to get the entire fence constructed. I installed the fence in '82 and have only had to do routine maintenance since that time.

When building with T post it's been found in my area that a 4 or 5 inch wood post every 5th or 6th post make a better fence.
