I have made a leveling bar for my tractor and it works not too bad off the 4 in 1 bucket.
But I also added chains so I can tow with ride on.
On flat gravel or sand it works great but as soon as I hit bumps it bounces as it is too light.
So I added some wood as weight and it is better till you run over some sticks and they get stuck and just pile up.
Tried quite a bit of weight and mower was struggling to pull it.
Then tried lighter.
And lighter again.
Is there a spot the weight should be? Like at the front / middle / back?
Or do I need to use a stick rake I do not have first then the leveling bar?
Much easier than trying to maneuver the tractor around in tight spots.

Does it have a cutting edge? If not can you install one of some sort?

No cutting edge it is just 50mm SHS. Have been towing it around my grass as well so afraid of a cutting edge.

If your mower struggles to pull it you may be putting its drive mechanism at risk.

That was just a test. Seems to be best with just 1 weight around 15kg.
Mower hardly notices that.
I am going to try it at the front then the back and see how it goes.
Need to sort something to secure it first.
