Well, in times of drought bloody good hay is worth its weight in precious commodities.

How old's the hay? First cut?

If you think about it the rings and bracelets are of no real value. What are they good for, nothing. You can't eat them or use them as a tool. Seems smart to trade geegaws for good hay to me. Ed
