Lift capacity of 758C on a TC34DA

Does anyone have an idea of how much weight can be lifted by a 758C backhoe on a TC34DA at say 6' from the rear of the tractor. Just trying to get an idea of how much I can lift if I bur a thumb for my BH.

Not sure how you would get those specific figures since it is really outside the realm of what backhoes are used for . I Know My 758C attached to My TC30 with a manual thumb will pick up a fairly large chunk of log . I was moving 30' long logs of Madrone , ( similar to Oak ) that were 12" + in diameter out of the deck to block them up . Although I was Not lifting whole log , I was lifting one end , then rotating the backhoe to slide it out . Did it without issue's .

Dave, we used my 758C on a NH1920 to pick up a 350 GM engine but it could not lift it with the boom and dipper fully extended. Also have lifted a 250 lb vibratory compacter into and out of an 8 foot basement. Bill C

Engine was probably about 500 lbs. I can see where it wouldn't pick it up fully extended. That's a long way from the tractor. I guess I will just keep using the FEL for the heavier stuff.
