Lift System for Chain Harrow?

Hi folks!

I have a 6' Chain Harrow that I only used a few times per year. Now I due to having built a horse ring I need it often.
I need a lift system of some sort that will allow me to raise and lower it for transport and to allow me to back it into a storage area.

Any advice or where to get one? How much I need to pay for one? Advice on it in general?
BTW- This is for a Kubota 2410.

Several people here have used a boom pole (~$90 at TSC ) to lift their chain harrows, and other pull type implements. Do a search here and see what you get, I believe there are even some threads with pictures attached.

Here's a link for one. Do a search on the internet and you will find others. I wouldn't go the boom pole route. The one like is shown in the picture will not only work up your arena but it also help greatly to level the arena as well. As you know if you work much in yours the problem is the uneven places caused by riding in one place more than another.

If you by a lift frame make sure it is not a completely rigid frame. Most of the frames I have seen have rear supports made out of thin flat steel that can flex (only provides support in tension) to allow the frame to ride on top of the chain harrow evenly when dropped.

And I find the additional weight of the pipe framework to be beneficial when attempting to "scratch" dry compacted soil and gravel.

Anothe picture of one. Not a chain harow but the lift system could be easily frabricated and adapted.

www.fuerst-bros.com has 3 point lifts for aroud $400. I own one and they're sturdy.

Brad, thanks for your post on the Fuerst, I bought my harrow rake from them last year and am hoping to get the lift this year. Nice to hear good words from someone who already has one.
