I just started up my 5410 tonight after a 2 month rest, since I have been using the 4 and 2000 fords to feed with. Turned on the lights and the left side of the flasher on the rops wasn't working. Where do I need to start looking. My guess is possibly the bulb since the assembly was sort of loose from the rops. Any ideas of how to tighten it? Also where should I mount a tool box besides the FEL because it its not always on?

Thanks,
Patrick

If it like the ones I've disassembled on Kubotas, you can remove one of the lenses, then tighten it up from inside. And as you said, the bulb would be the best place to start, especially since you'll be inside the light anyway.

Also, remember a little rust or corrosion can bugger up your ground...or it might be on the bulb contacts themselves. A little scotchbrite can do the trick.

Probably a bad bulb though...

Didn't get a chance to get to it today because I picked dad up after work beside a stalled tractor. It seems that a condenser is going bad on the 2000 and of course the parts store supplied the wrong points and condenser. I hope this isn't going to be one of those years.
