light weight nice 3pt spreader

I'm looking for a smaller 3 pt spreader. Something with around a 500 lb capacity and weighing less than 150 lbs. I have a larger frontier pendular spreader (ss1190p). My only problem with it is weight at 340lbs. I would like a light weight spreader that I can throw in the back of the pickup without a loader.

Now for what I cant find out of the several lightweight three point spreaders out there. I want an accurate, repeatable gate on it, like the one on my larger frontier. It has a 27 pin gate adjustment, which I much prefer to the cheap levers with wing nuts on the majority of $300-$600 spreaders.

Anyone making anything like that?

You might look into the Herd M96 spreader. I haven't used them but maybe someone here has and can tell what kind of adjustment it has for the seed gate? Or, you could just email Herd and ask them for detailed info on how accurately (repeatable) you can set it from one seed size to another seed size. Btw, they are in Shelbyville, NC.

Land Pride Fertilizer Spreaders
Mine gets hauled all over, light weight. Just what I use

The herd m96 looks nice, but I'm not a fan of a 3 bushel capacity. Even with 2 bushel attachment it is on the small side. The discontinued 160 with the extension would have been perfect.

The landpride looks nice, how precise is the gate opening? Looks like it uses a pin for gate adjustment, but I cant find any real good pics of it. Does it do OK with small seed?
