Lighted gauges & switches '04 farm pro 2425

I've noticed the only gauges that are lighted is the tach/ hour meter & the horn switch. It's no biggy, but are they supposed to be lighted? Or is this how they came. The other gauges have a hole for a light, but looks to be covered.i don't see any loose sockets to put any bulbs in. I took the switch panel out w/horn part way and could not see any bulbs. Are these internally lit with a led? Or is there a way to illuminate them.
Everything else works. Headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights,horn & work light
