Since things are a little slow, I thought I would present a silly challenge to the folks here. What is the lightest attachment that you have made? Secondly what is the lightest attachment you can describe. I weighted my strap lifter and it weighted just under 22 pounds. I did not include the weight of the chain. Is this OK?

Perhaps you can think of a way to make a lighter one or even ones that weights a little more.

Rules
It must perform a useful function.
It must attach to the quick attach plate.
You can make your own quick attach plate.
It must not damage the PT in normal use.
You can break the rules if you have a creative idea.

Well not a lot of response to this one (zero). Here is what I am thinking and let the comments begin (or not). How about a quick attach plate or plates of different design for specific applications. They could be specialized to take forces only down or up or whatever. This way they could be less massive. Care must be taken not to damage the front plate on the PT. I bent mine by pushing a tree with no attachment on. The quick attach plate actually strenghtens the front plate.

Maybe the plate would not have metal for both attachment paws to grap. No metal would be on the other side.

Maybe the plate would only be on one side, or it could have a big hole in the middle, or just be a ring around the front plate.
A plate like this would make it easier to carry on the machine when not in use. It could also be cheaper.

It could be made of wood, plastic, aliminum, etc.

Just another silly idea.
