LIGHTS OUT??? What were you doing and where?

I have the genreac guardian 12KW.. have had it for about a year had a few problems with it had to have the windings rewound.. actually the service tech is going to be here on monday to fix it again when the powewr went out the unit was surgeing up and down and the light did the same thing... my uncle is a electriction so he helped my hook it up what I did was add extra circuts to the transfer switch /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif it is a square D (I think the HOMELINE) breaker box and I bought the tandem breakers( had to modify them since they dont want you to do this I can explain how to if anyone is intrested /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) and ran xtra wires to the main box to the switch box. I have my whole house on this and no problems at all... Not enought to hook up the central AC tho /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

There is a picture circulating on the Internet that is supposed to be a sattelite image of the blackout. It shows the entire area completely black. It is a hoax. Here's a link to some better photos at snopes.com. It shows the hoax photo, then gives links to better photos from NOAA.
