Added some new lights to my ROPS..
Mowing in the dark shouldn't be a problem next year (at least I hope)

The 2 in the middle shine straight ahead.
The 2 outside lights aim off to each side so I can see better where to turn when night mowing and snow plowing.

Then theres my current project.
Take my old $200 King Kutter rear blade, slice it up and attemp to make it fit my loaders quick attach for snow plowing without spending any money (or at least very little) .
I have a ways to go to get this one done yet.

Looks good Vince, but are you getting any shadow from you head caused by the lower, front-facing lights? I have to put my magnetic flood up on top of the ROPS or my head is too much in the way. I'm not very tall either, about 5' 7 1/2". Those side lights make a lot of sense. John

Don't mind the mess in that last picture, it always looks like that half way through one of my projects /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I get a little shadow, but not bad..

One of the problems I had with night mowing was going straight ahead to the end of a pass, but by then all the forward facing lights did't let me see exactly where the end of the grass/turn was to the side. I'm hoping this solves that problem..

I like the light set up. I just hope that the bugs don't eat you alive /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. Gerard

That may be next, a ROPS mounted Bug Zapper /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My front snowplow is done.
Its not beautiful, but it didn't cost much and it should work OK.

Fits on my quick attach.
Most of the blade is made out of my old KK backblade.
I made the blade higher using a chunk of mobile home frame.
Built from my scrap steel pile /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The only thing I had to buy was the skid shoes , trip springs and a couple pieces of strap.
