I bought a 14.4 lincoln grease gun, loaded the first tube and it worked great.Loaded the second tube and it worked great for two fittings, after that nothing. Tried using the primer, tried holding the trigger down for 2 straight minutes, tried the gun inserted in a fitting, tried the gun not inserted in a fitting , screwed the top of the gun off and back on screwed the bottom off then back on, no luck Help!!!!!! What is wrong?

Not the same animal, so this may not apply, but I have a Lincoln air powered grease gun that can be pretty finicky. After tearing it apart, I found that the spring that holds the steel ball back to act like a check valve had compressed and wasn't doing it's job. I stretched the spring back out and it worked fine for a while, then the same thing happened again. I think the grease was going through the gun so fast it wasn't allowing the spring to spring back and kept squashing it. I now just give it short bursts and wait a second between them and it seems to work ok. Another time it quit and I found a piece of something was preventing the ball from seating. Hope this helps.

I think I must be unlucky, or the guns made in the last few years are just crap. I've got one that is about 20 years old in storage that always worked. It will be 6 months before I get around to digging it out and I've thought about ordering a snap-on brand just to get one that works all the time but I have a hunch they buy them from the same company in china that makes the ones I have.

I agree. They all seem to be junk. I don't mind paying more for better product but I haven't been able to find it.

it's got air in the pump
unscrew that big bolt just under the hose
hit the button til grease comes out (won't take long)
screw the bolt back in

it will work.
