Check if it's the same model welding supplies sell. Some of the box store Lincoln is cheaper built than the same model at the LWS. They also use different consumables that the LWS probably doesn't carry. How good of a deal is it if you have to special order new tips and nozzles etc. because the box store doesn't have them?

Not sure if those models still come in a " C " version and a " T " version , But if they do , Get The " C " version . T is for Tap Settings While the C version is Continuous infinite settings .

I have a 180C (love it). I was told the T version is how you tell the difference between Home Depot (T Version) and LWS (Probably C Version). The other difference is the quality of the rollers on the inside that feed the wire. The T is plastic or only has one metal roller and the C has 2.

Had the sp170-T and this had steel rollers was from LWS and C version was from HD or Can tire
