I have a lincoln SA-250 deisel arc welder. It sat for years before I bought it. It woked great for 5-6 years and then sat for 12-18 months. When I went to use it recently,It ran fine and I have 120 volts at the aux. plug. The problem is that all I get is a very weak arc spark at the end of the rod no matter where the cotrols are. I have cleaned the brushes and terminals and flashed the exiter field with a 12-volt battery per the instuctions. When doing that i had two different instructions; one with the engine stopped and one with the engine idleing. When stopped the flashing proceedure created a min. spark. When flazshing at idle I got a large spark at the exciter brush term which was supposed to happen. After all of this it still acts the same. Where should I go next? MOD-SA-250 CODE-8305 SER-925510
