I have one and I think it is great. I have welded up sheet metal with it. I have welded hooks on to my loader bucket. It is easy to use and very portable. Couple it with my auto dimming helmet and it is more fun than should be allowed by law. Somebody said something in the other posting about the material having to be cleaner with a wire than a stick. I have found the opposite to be true. Here is one thing as a junior welder that I found handy about this welder or any wire feed. When I first started I used a regular hood and a stick welder. I always had a problem of starting in the right place. With the wire rig, just put the wire where you want to start, flip your hood down, pull the trigger. Find a Lincoln dealer that will let you try one out in their shop.
