Just got a good used Linebach Model 240 disc harrow.
Need source for Linebach manuals.
Or source for information on cleaning and lubing the bearings.
Thx any help appreciated.

They went under year or 2 ago. Mostly commodity parts though. Discs & bearings should readily avaliable from your local ag parts dealer or online.

Thx Fallon, I didn't know they went under. Just notice that they disappeared.
I see Everything Attachments still has their Linebach 240 disc harrow video up and running.

I've bought several Leinbach attachments from the EA company over the past several years. Maybe they can also help/advise you of what you need.

All of the Leinbach domains are owned by EA... I think EA essentially purchased their assets. There's another thread on TBN about it, IIRC, that comes to mind.

I have a Leinbach PHD. Called em looking for a downpressure kit a year or so ago... was a week or 2 late as they were going under.

ETA sold a lot of Leinbach stuff as others noted & might be able to help.

Most of their stuff was commodity parts mounted to frames they built, which makes replacement parts easy despite them being gone.

Thanks Guys,
Everything Attachments helped me out. Charles George works for EA after 40 years at Leinbach. Here’s my note to him…
I finally got that [new to me] used Leinbach 240 into my shop, 3 gangs where very stiff, one gang was frozen. They are 3-hole bearings you said no grease require [that’s really good info thanks].
I WD-40’ed all 8 bearing pulled out bale twine wrapped on one and barbed wire wrapped on another. Spun the three hard ones and forced that frozen one. After 15 rotations they stared to loosen. More WD-40 and spun them the opposite direction. Let sit for 20 minutes… YAHOO…
All 4 gangs now spin super free and all bearing feel good and tight.
Any other Leinbach secrets about the 240 I should know???
Thanks again for your help… Tell Everything Attachments they should built that 240 as it looks bullet-proof and farmer fixable [a real plus].
Stay safe in the Matthew Storm…

Hi Fallon, PhD,
Got a brain test for you. What color Red are the Leinbach attachments???
Maybe XO-Rust Tractor Red? or Rust-Oleum International Harvester Red? or their Regal Red?
I need to repaint and would like to match if possible.
Many thanks...
