links within old threads are no longer valid

For some reason, the links within old threads are no longer valid. For example, if you go to this thread:

Finally Got My Hyd. Top Link

and try to view the thread Spencer refers to in the last post on the thread, it comes back with the error message below. I know this used to work because I've looked at it several times. This is one example among many that aren't working anymore.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

And then click on the link Spencer is referring to, that it comes up for you? It won't for me.

Mosey, I found out that the old links were not working a day or two ago when you posted a link to my Boom Pole Lifts 16 Feet thread. I tried clicking on one of the links in that thread and it started to go there and then redirected me to the main forum index. I just went to the Hydraulic toplink thread and tried the link in my last post and it also brought me to the main forum index. So you are not the only one having the problem.

The first link you put in it works for me just fine. If I click on the second link it just takes me to the main forum.

Wished I could tell you whats wrong. But can't

It sounds like you're both having a similar problem. But, I don't get redirected to the main forum, I get that error message.

I just did some more testing and if I use Internet Explorer either at work or at home, I get the error message shown above. If I use Netscape (at work), I get redirected to the main forum index.
