Little BX Bucket Brush Forks

I just got done with the loader installation and thought of some other stuff to build. First is this set of brush forks that attach to the bucket with two 5/8" cat 0 pins. The forks are built from 2" X 2" X .125" box tubing and weight just over 100 lbs. I wanted to keep them light knowing the capacity on my little tractor is not that much. Since the Woods loader is not QA I decided to hook them to the bucket. One bad thing I noticed right away is you can not see the forks in front of the bucket when it is level. If this becomes to much of a problem I may modify them to fit the pins on the loader arms without using the bucket? Next on the fab list is a grapple to mount on the top of the bucket. The grapple will mount seperate from the forks so I can use it with or without the forks attached.

very nice. That quick pin on the top of your bucket is the same idea i was thinking of a set of forks i wanted to make for my bx24, again nice job

Nice work. I am so tired of the single dump cylinder setup on my tractor and the lack of a good QA plate for that setup (that also does not weigh too much). This winter I plan on switching from the one ram to two (similar to the JD design) and then changing all FEL attachments so that they can work with a QA setup .... there are just too many things that would work many times better if you could swap them out quickly on the FEL.

Thanks for the kind words guy's. The paint is drying and I am in Va. today on a one week trip on the Harley, tonight we will be in N.C. I have some plans for using the forks when I get home. I will try to get some pictures.

I have a compost pile in the back that I wanted to mix up the forks worked good for that.

I was wondering if you fabricated the attachment points that you have on the top of the bucket or if you bought them?
I've come across all kinds of projects to get started on reading the forums. Thanks for the great idea.
