we haven't in years, this all came in less then 24 hours, with 60mph winds, it was whiteout conditions for most of that time..
places there were drifts and snow banks that you could just see over in the backhoe..
needless to say, we put some hours on the hoe that week.

Winter Clobbers the Maritimes

Theonlybull, you have my sympathy. I was out this afternoon cutting down some old dried grass in preparation for Spring wildflower season which starts here in Texas toward the end of March. I guess you'll have to wait a few more weeks. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

suprisingly, there's bare grass in places now, and over half the snow's gone. now we have a nice combination of snow/ice/mud to deal with.

honestly, it wasn't too bad, the whole province was shut down for 2 days, and there was a 18 hour period that the plows were pulled off the roads, and all roads were closed to traffic.
atleast i gained an extra day to spend with my wife and 2 month old daughter, in our nice warm house.

that link has some nice photo's in it, but thier all from the halifax area, which got less snow then us, just they didn't have anywhere to put it /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
