Little tractor that wanted to be bigger

After seeing Hambone go for a pool with his 2210 I decided to tackle a few small poplar stumps. 3-4". feeling spry after that I decided a try a 6-8" maple stump. Now I really didnt think My little tractor could do this. I have been asked many times by different people looking at sub Cuts ...Will they dig a stump ? or can you bog the engine down ? Well This is as big of a stump as I would tackle with this machine and it was the first time I was ever able to bog her down. I wound up with a hole about 3' deep x 6' in diameter. A lttle tricky with turfs and a lot of three wheelin it. Not recommended that you try this at home

Looks like you are having a lot of fun and if you get bored you are more then welcome to come here and play around as we have to clear about 30 acres of red brush and locust.

I am not ever surprised at the tasks that these compacts can do but sometimes it just amazes how clean some of you fellow TBN'ers can keep your toy while working; that is one clean Deere in action.

Ive got some dirty pictures too ! lol. I was just amazed that I actually got that stump out. I had to muscle it in the loader for the photo. Its kinda tuff to see as the morning sunlight was really giveing the digital camera fits. I just kept thinking, hay, if Hambone can dig a pond I can get this dang stump out. It was a real pain tilling in between several stumps. What is funny to me when I look back is how I initially was only buying a tractor to till. I did not want to spend the bucks on that FEL but it is probably involved in 75% of my hours now. Dave

Same here. I bought a tractor to mow and brush hog, but more than half of my hours have been with the FEL buckets.
