1910 Ford tractor. I would pointed in the right direction to adjustment my clutch. This issue: my transmission disengages with just a little pressing of the clutch pedal (say at the top of the pedal range). the PTO on the other hand, must be engaged/disengaged by pressing the clutch all the way down, so far down that I have to slide off of the seat to get it pressed far enough. I'd like to adjust that so that the live PTO engage point is at a reasonable position. I've added a few pics to assist.

Thoughts?

the first is pedal fully released, the second transmission disengaged, the third is PTO disengaged.

I am not a mechanic but I am thinking your clutch is worn out beyond repair. Where is the footrest/step that should be under the clutch pedal?

Ihe manual says there is a PTO clutch adjustment behind a rubber cover plate on the clutch housing. I couldn't tell which side it is on. Your clutch for the transmission should have about 1 inch free play before it disengages the transmission clutch. That is adjusted by changing the clevis by adjusting it on the rod after disconnecting the clevis and loosing the lock nut.
Someone with more mechanical skills than me needs to give you better instructions. Maybe the PTO clutch can be brought back by adjusting.

Okay. Thanks. I'll going to take a look at it tonight. I'll keep you posted on any issues that I come across.

And yes, footrest is gone.....but I'm fabbing a new one this weekend. As I have learned, you cannot find a left footrest anywhere on the planet.

Well, please tell me that the rubber plate is located directly behind the loader frame. I wouldn't want it any other way.
