Hello to all. I have owned a Ford 4000 for twenty years. It has been a good tractor, but recently blew a head gasket and will be down for a while. I now have a second tractor which is a 2006 Mahindra 4110 with 4x4 and a FEL. It was pink when I got it so one of the first things I did was paint it. I used Valspar International Havester Red with the harder. I had a real fine driveway paint job going until a swarm of knats landed on the hood and stuck.
The next thing I did to the Mahindra, was fill the tires with antifreeze. I also added a Piranha bar to my bucket and have been impressed by the results.Today I installed a Pats Easy Change hitch and a hydraulic top link. It looks like I will have to remove the seat belt in order to adjust the top link? The lever for the remotes will not go past the seatbelt buckle if you are seated. H*** of a design.
There are a lot of things to like about the Mahindra and I am hoping for a long trouble free relationship. Cheers.
