LK 3054 xs tirechains ??

Gentlepeople,

I have a 2005 lk3054 xs with the 7 1/2 ft kioti backhoe and subframe. Any problem with rear tirechains and clearence? My plow truck died for the last time so this tractor is taling over snow removal duties. 1100 ft of driveway, 500 ft steep. The R4's just do not cut it. Previously I would use the tractor only to scrape ice off the hills so traction wasn't a big deal, now I will be adding a snow plow and the chains. Please give me feedback from the your experiences.

i live in claremont and i just got a set of vbar ladder chains (rear only) for my ck20. my driveway is 700'+ on a hill. what a difference..... i can now blow snow going back up the hill, so i basically just cut the time in half...... i take the BH off for the winter and don't have any clearance problems with the chains... i got the chains from Tire Chains by Tirechains.com for $190 including shipping. i should have gotten them last year.

Thank you for the reply. If I took the backhoe off I still would have the subframe on. It looks like 3" of clearence so I think I will go with chains. Tirechains.com does beat the dealer price. I called the dealer about the clearance issues and he said " I think they will fit". Now I need a plow. I will try to find a welder to make brackets in the bucket for one of my fisher plows.
