LK3054 3 point lever

The 3 point lever on my LK3054 os getting harder and harder to move. I just about have to stand up from my seat to get enough behind it to move it from the top position (9) to my mowing position (4). Is there a grease point I am missing here? Or is there an adjustment that can be made? This tractor lives outside so it sees all of the elements.

I don't know about your model but on my DK35 there is a grease fitting tucked up under the fender that you can get to from the back. Look up on the right side under the body work and to the right of the top link.

Is it up torwards the 3pt lever entry to the casting? Or back towards the 3pt arms? I've looked and haven't found it yet. Thanks for the help here!!

I don't believe our 3054's have that fitting; I've never seen one on mine. I would think your problem lies where the shaft enters the case(hydraulic cylinder[rockshaft] case on top of the differential case, under the seat. I would give that area a good soaking with PB Blaster, or some such penatrant, working the lever;there is no external linkage to this control. This area is pretty tight, so you might have to remove some tin

Thanks again Patches. I hit it with some PB blaster and worked it some and it loosened right up.
I sometimes look past the simple solutions and make things more difficult than they realy are. Thanks for the help!!

Glad I could help; I've got a post on the JD forum asking for help for a neighbor with a problem, and of course, somebody(etcallhome) stepped up with a test procedure that he got from another site. That is what this site is all about and I think it's great
