LK3054 bevel gear case removal

Help,,,I am trying to remove the bevel gear case off the front axle on Lk3054,,I've got every thing off of it,,just looking a the parts diagram and looks like a snap ring holds the gear on the axle and I am assumimg this has to be removed,,any help appreciated,,if the snap ring has to be reomved it looks like its gonna be a booger to remove,,I know someone is going to ask why,,the top bearing went bearing and it was ran until the gear actually wore a hole in gear case,,just got this and trying to do some repairs that should have been done a long time ago,,any help greatly appreiated

got it off,,all u got to do is take a pair of 11'" needle nose pliers with a 90 degree bend and turn them into a pair snap ring pliers, reach up in there till u turn blue and u will eventually get it all lined up and the snap ring will jump off and it'll all slide off,,nothing to it,,bout like sticking your finger in a will tigers ear,,now to get a few parts and put it back together,,
