Kioti LK3054XS
Had some work done on kioti The shift lever broke a bolt the attaches it to the yoke. But now the clutch engages in the first inch of pedal travel. whiplash city. How hard is it to adjust the pedal travel? Or is it done by adjusting the clutch itself.?

Thanks for your time.

If it's like my DK it's pretty easy. There is a turnbuckle-like arrangement under the dash. you adjust the linkage until you have one inch of free movement (at the pedal) before you feel the resistance of the clutch starting to disengage.

On the LK3054 the adjustment is under the left footrest, but it's pretty much as you describe. The owner's manual says not to go by the amount of pedal freeplay, but to use a certain gap (ISTR it being .1") between the throw-out bearing and the clutch fingers. There's an access cover on the RH side of the transmission. It's way too far in to try and use a feeler gauge...I just used a piece of aluminum strap that was about the right thickness last time I adjusted mine.

BTW, if you go by the instructions in the manual, the actual adjustment rotation is the opposite from what they say.
