Ok hit 51hrs (oops!) on the LK. What do I need now? Is there a NAPA filter or other oil filter that I can buy from an auto/truck part store that will fit? Oil choices?? Thanks!
Is there some reason you don't want to use the Kioti parts? I bought mine from my dealer and they were very resonable. Unless your dealer is not very close, I'd try to support the dealer and use the original type equipment, not will fits as they sometimes don't "quite" fit. John
Yeah my dealer is in NC and I'm in VA. I have no complaints at all with the dealer but figured it would be easier to travel 35 miles into town. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
You could always call the dealer and he'll order the parts you need and ship them to you. Shouldn't cost all that much either. They should arrive quickly. John
That seems easy enuff. I'll email Mr. Carver. I still haven't even had time to do the service and grass cutting time is getting CLOSE! Thanks everyone. Chris
may I suggest that you at least clean the hydraulic filter... I recomend changing the hydraulic oil at the first 50 hrs, then every 250-300 hrs.
The hydraulic filter on the 3054 is not to be replaced... it is to be cleaned.
Filters and oil, and grease, and mantance is cheep, cheep, cheep. Parts and labor is high.
I was under my 3054 yesterday. Looks like theres at least 5 drain plugs for the transmission/hydraulic fluid. I'm getting close to doing mine. Got the aux hydraulic kit installed. Will fit my tilt cylinder and after running it I'll then change the fluid and clean the filter.
