I have recently purchased a 1997 LK3054. I noticed when driving it down the driveway in high and low gear it wouldn't rev out past 2600 RPM according to the tachometer. To me, it sounds like the engine is running at higher than 2600 RPM.
I'm worried about running my PTO implements at the rated 2600 engine RPM if in fact the engine is turning faster than that, or if the engine speed is correct I am wondering if there is something wrong with the engine that it wont rev out past 2600 RPM. I am thinking I can get a digital tachometer to verify engine speed and PTO speed.
I don't have a owner's manual, but does anyone know the maximum RPM for the LK3054 / TD1400 engine?
Thanks!
