LK3054 Remote Hydraulics and Tilt cylinder

I got my remotes installed and finished the tilt cylinder. Thanks to DK35Vince for the info on his cylinders. I was wondering if anyone has had custom hydraulic hoses made? I had these made at $20 per hose which seemed on the high side. But they had the correct fittings on both ends so I didn't have to mix and match $5 fittings.

Heres a shot of the spool valve installation. Yes I had to redo my nipples on the valve. The sealer I got did not do the job the first time even after curing for 24 hours.

Looks Great! Where did you end up getting that cylinder at?

I made the cylinder to fit so that the 3 point would be level with the cylinder half way. I made some additional holes in the lower connection to make it more adjustable if need be.

The cylinder is from Prince Hydraulics. In the close out section part number SAE-8404-O for $35. As you can see I modified it alot to make if fit.

Jim,
Thanks for the pictures. I just finished final grading on my backyard area. Time and some fine tuning of the box scraper did a good job. But your set-up would have made it a lot easier. I was trying to figure an easy method to accomplish it. My dealer installed the remote Hydraulic set up for my BH so for me it would be very easy. Your picture brought home how easy the set-up would be. Just another thing to try and sell to my wife. Definitely will have to have this set-up when I start on the new property.

That price seems real fair to me on the hoses . I paid quite a bit more for mine .
Lablovers, I also set up my own Top and Tilt for my box scraper based on the information I got from DKVince . Prince Manufacturing or Surplus Center has a ton of rams. They also carry a top link ram all set to go with no modifications needed . Of course ,I did not know that until I had made mine ! I ended up paying about a $100 for both rams needed and then made my own changes .

I think you will find that your system will begin to creep and move as time goes on. ALL hydraulic valves and systems have bleed by acceptable standards. This means you will have to continually readjust your cylinders. This can be prevented if a double piloted check valve is used.

Jim I am workin on my dads tractor his is the same as yours and I was wanting to know was your system a kit from kioti? My dad called and was told they dont make a kit. Thanks,Ken
