Does anybody have a good handle on the capabilities of the 3054. I've just got done looking at the posts on the move of some big rocks. I was wondering about using it to move some about that size or smaller. I have some limestone in my front yard that I can barely move by rolling by hand. I have one that is about 14x14x30 inchs long. most about that size. I'm wanting to use them in making a fish pond one of these days..

The LK3054 is one of the tractors that I'm looking at very strongly. I also have seen this tractor picking up the end of a very long 12 inch diameter log. ??

Also can this tractor pull a 14in 2 bottom plow??

I like the size of is cause it is smaller and can manuver around a bit better than say some of the bigger ones. I guess I'm comparing it to say the 38 or 42 hp century or branson.

thanks mark

I would say that if you can "barly move them by hand" then just about any tractor will move them well.
The 3054 seems to me to be more tractor than other 30 HP tractors I've been on. I don't know why it's so, but it pulls really strongly, and has a lot more capability than I expected.
I find it to be a very good mid HP tractor, and probably is all that many people would need unless they just have a whole lot of acreage to cut. The TLB unit is particularly facinating to me. The BH setup is strong and tight and easy to operate, and the loader has some improvements over others and comes with the brush gaurd.
Of course my opinion of the fit and finish of Kioti is notorious. They're well made.

Hello Mark,
The LK3054 shouldn't have any problems moving rocks the size you stated. I have been looking at the LK3054 to replace my LB1914 and I have moved rocks bigger then that with it. My experience with Kioti has been pretty good and I see them as a good value too, when comparing them to other units. Kioti John said it well, You know when he's right he's right.
Good luck. In the forum Kioti owning/operating, the thread Lanscaping Rock is the last rock I moved. Too much rain. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You will have no problem moving the rocks, the TLB is great! It's a power house, and will have no problem with the plow. the new KL 1231 loader is removable now, darn, /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif mine is fixed, should have waited another 6 months, NOT. The hoe has great digging power also, works great for holding downed trees off the ground to buck them up. enjoy, Gary
