Tractor
Yanmar YM2500
Hey ya'll. Long time no speak!

If I understand LMTC's website correctly, I am pretty impressed with the new changes.

Being that i'm in Louisiana, I could have a tractor delivered for free? A 6 month warranty? Partnership with Fredrick's Equipment? Is it true that a YM2210 is $4099.00?

I like all of this in my opinion. I think that this is going to help out the Grey Market tractor business- and the dealers.

I traded my YM2000 for a 4x4 truck. What a mistake. I have an electrical problem with my Mahindra. When I get it fixed, I'm probably gonna go ahead and sell it. Again, its just a little too big for my needs now. Im gonna ed up buying another Yanmar but it will be a little bigger than a YM2000.

Can a YM2210 handle a 5' Bush Hog Squealer cutter and a 6' light/medium duty King Kutter rear farm blade (NOT a box blade)? Thats the biggest implements that I have now. I sold my disks and box blade.

Thanks,
Travis R

Hello Travis,

IMHO I can't imagine a dealer delivering a tractor for free....You have to consider the cost of insurance, drivers wage and fuel to name just a few. You may be able to negotiate the delivery expenses if there are two (or more) deliveries along the same route.

About the price as advertised; I would make sure there is no misunderstanding about a tractor by contacting and verifying the particular model you're interested in. It may be a inventory reduction sale, "This Item Only" sale or a first come first serve bargain....To cinch a deal like that, it may only be a phone call away and some hefty earnest money to own that tractor.

Where are you seeing all of this? I see a YM2210 for $4700 and delivery at $1.85 per loaded mile.

I believe the link to this deal is on LMTC's Home page under the Chalk Board section. That little animation in the top left corner on the home page is pretty cool. ;)

Travis,

My 2210D handled a 5ft KK boxblade fine. I think it would run a 5ft brush cutter ok, you just have to watch the weight on the rear for stability reasons. You might be OK on flat ground, just depends how heavy the brush cutter is.

Impressive, I guess one needs the secret code to find that site.

That's correct, and without a Captain Midnight secret decoder ring, you're lost.:)

The link is on our home page in two places...from the chalkboard at the bottom and from the links on the left...try "Special". And of course delivery is not free...it is built into the price. We make that point on the special page. I and others have grown weary of hearing callers say "but they deliver for free!" Of course "they" don't. It's built into the price. But hey, if that's what people want to hear, it's ok by me. And we have offered 6 months warranty for at least the last 3 years, perhaps longer. Anyone who's shopped us seriously enough to talk with me at any length would know that....we just haven't bandied it about on our site, as we have preferred to stand on our reputation. A ten year warranty is worthless if the business behind it doesn't have the integrity to honor it.

Those two models are priced like that because we were able to gather a large quantity of each (approaching 100 each), and the price will hold as long as it's economically viable for us (yes, I admit it...we do this to make a profit).

And yes MDM, the graphic is pretty cool. Do you happen to know who made it?;) For the rest, MDM does graphics/animation for a living, and kindly made that animation for us.

I was always a fan of the Green Hornet. He had a secret decoder right too. Can I use that one or do I need to scour eBay for someone who is selling their Captain Midnight secret decoder ring :p

Ummm, I don't remember the Green Hornet having a secret decoder ring, Bob. Captain Midnight (via Ovaltine), Captian Video, Captain Jet, and Johnny Quest much later. Probably more copycats as well. I suppose there is a subtlety involved in "secret" & "Green Hornet", since many sources indicated that the GH's faithful sidekick Kato met his demise because he was acting as a secret agent for the U.S.

And no, you don't need to scour eBay.....you can write or call for personal service and we'll decode the site for you (or you could click on the link titled "Special" on our home page, unless that's just too easy.... ;) )

Wayne, just for reference, the Green Hornet secret decoder ring was just a green version of the Mighty Mouse secret decoder ring. So if you coded something on the red decoder ring from Mighty Mouse you could decode it by using a green Green Hornet secret decoder ring.

I recall the Johnny Quest show, but not the ring. I'll bet that is a valuable find on eBay
