Tires Load rear tires?

My dealer loads almost 95% of the tires on the tractors he sells. He'll talk you into at the sale and usually throw it in with the deal. It's the one thing that you do then forget about it. Weight boxes, wheel weights, etc. do work but unless you have a really soft lawn just add more complexity that you don't need. Wheel weights can be a pain as well as rear weight boxes. been there done that. Get your tires loaded and enjoy the low (actually no) maintenance upgrade for a long time. Let us know
Until you get a leak.

I have personally ran my BX24 without loaded rears and filled them last fall. I can tell you that I am in a wet/soft location and even without loaded rears, I made ruts in certain spots on lawn and I noticed no difference in the ruts with loaded rears. Having turfs, I find its so much easier with loaded rears as its much more stable and less bouncy. I certainly have alot more traction too. As for LBrown comment about until they leak, with rimguard its not a problem. One of the marketing points rimgaurd has is that it won't hurt the lawn, will not hurt any living animal. Even if you do get a leak, no problem- just point the leak upwards and plug the hole. After all rimgaurd is beet juice! It's heavier then water, no tubes needed, protects the rim, wont hurt living things. (rimguard have better give me a discount for singing thier praises!:D)

One more "me too" for loaded rears - BX24 with R4s - after two years have not had any issues with lawn damage.

Mine were filled by the dealer and I didn't realize it till I went to add air. Was always wondering why condensation would form on the sidewalls....:D

Had my tires loaded today, about $100 out the door. It took almost 3 hours to get it done. They had to replace the rubber valve stems with metal ones. Then they had problems with the valve stems turning when they tried to take the installation tool off.

I would say the results exceeded my expectations. I picked up a end loader full of gravel, and it was definitely more stable. I also thought the traction was better driving into the gravel pile. Mowed with it a little bit before it started raining, and seemed more stable on the hills. I haven't figured out why it helps so much with the traction, but it does work.

Thanks to all for the advice from everybodys
